This is the work I did when we were creating a VR game based on World War 2 as a group. Below are the UI designs that I created for that game. I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create these pieces of work.
This is the title screen that I created for our VR game. I designed the buttons using shapes in Photoshop, making them 3D. The button and text colours were chosen to match the logo. I also added a photo of some poppies that I sourced from IStock.
This is the pause menu I created for our VR game. I used Photoshop's shape tools to make the buttons 3D. The colours of the buttons and the background were chosen from the colour scheme I was given for consistency with the rest of the game UI.
This is what I envision the game will look like while playing. The buttons were designed using Photoshop's shape tool and made in 3D. I also added photos of my hand, integrated a grenade image, and customised it to suit the game's aesthetic. The colours used for the buttons and background are based on the chosen colour scheme.
